This condition is similar to the PTSD condition that most of us have heard of. PTSD, which is; Post Traumatic Stress Disorder can be caused by any event with fear, horror, or disbelief at an intense level. This causes people with PTSD to have a huge amount of stress and other stress-related disorders which will instantly remind them of the trauma they experienced.

Just like that PNSD stands for Post Narcissist Stress Disorder. This results in being in situations where narcissistic people control others or being exposed to narcissistic behavior for a long time. When a person has been around such an environment for a long time, they get adjusted to experience a lot of trust issues, unfairness, hopelessness, and other very negative exposures that can cause heavy stress with time. It is harder to let go or to take yourself out of such a situation easily.

Even after you get away from such personal or social relationships causing more mental trauma, PNSD conditions can trigger at any time. The term ‘triggering’ in this case refers to reliving the traumatic events by a smell of perfume, an old song, place, or anything associates with the past traumatic events.
