When it comes to situations you face in life, there’s nothing too good or too bad. But there are times you get to face the worst. During your teenage, you may have faced situations where you find it difficult to accept yourself and have issues in self-confidence. Here’s a story of a woman who had faced such a situation.
Stephanie Yashimura is a girl from Rio De Janeiro had been 14 years old when she had first spotted a white spot in the skin around her eye. And when she had consulted the doctor and they had said that she has vitiligo. It is a disease present in the skin that drops melanin and due to it, white spots appear on the skin. And afterward, she had had difficulties with confidence and self-acceptance.

Stephanie had said that she underwent treatments to accelerate the disease and that she went all white. She had said that her birth color is dark and there are only stains left from her real birth color. And had said that she realized that it was silly of her not to show her more with the stains, the real way she is.

Stephanie had also said that when she thinks about today she’s happy and secure. Had said that she feels beautiful and that she wants to be an example for other people who suffer from vitiligo.

Now she is 28 years old and is a radio technician. It has been 14 years since her vitiligo condition and now she’s a very different person. She’s not different for her looks but for the positive change, she’s brought to her life. She models so that the others who have similar issues get encouraged too.
