The mere existence of doggos make this world a much better place to live. In your daily hustle to make your dreams come true, take a minute to read about Melissa, who got her dream job as a pet photographer. Yes, her job is to capture these adorable creatures on camera!
As you can imagine, she is having the time of her life. To share her story, she brings a glimpse of her daily life on the job. Scroll down to read about Melissa’s awesome experience at work below!
Imagine this: you’re in a picturesque park with a camera in hand, ready to capture some stunning doggy portraits. And then it happens – a pack of dogs rushes toward you like a tidal wave of enthusiasm. Chaos? Maybe. Pure joy? Absolutely! Working with dogs means embracing the unexpected, and those candid, unplanned moments often result in the most authentic and heartwarming photos. Well, for Melissa, it is her everyday job. Today, we collected some of her monochromatic works for you.
She explains that it took some time for her to get accustomed to this line of work in terms of dog handling. Not every doggo does as he/she is commanded. So, she needs to adapt and try to make a bridge between herself and her ‘pawesome’ models. She explains that some dogs are timid at times, then she would go ahead with the more engaging ones. This makes the timid doggos to watch and take part in the photos since they like to be given attention.
As you can see, these pictures highlight the heart-warming souls of these doggos. Dogs have a way of communicating with their eyes. Whether it’s the mischievous glint in a puppy’s gaze or the soulful depth in the eyes of an older dog, their expressions are a treasure trove for any photographer. It’s like they’re sharing their stories with you, and capturing those moments is nothing short of magical.
Melissa mentioned on Bored Panda that she captures pictures in color. She later converts them into monochromatic color while retouching the photos for a much refined finish. In this way she gets to have both types of her photos.
