One male mates with seven to eight females and then takes care of all the babies. There are around 150 babies pictured.

This species of crocodile is an endangered species and is known as gharial. They are trying their best to survive in the wild with only about 1000 of them left in southern Asia. As the photographer had shared about these animals they are very shy than the other crocodiles. But they are protective towards their babies. Other than this there are many more amazing images clicked by Dhritiman.
