A child is one of the greatest achievements in life you can get. You literally get to create life and an entire person. It is a very emotional journey with a lot of sacrifices and hopes all the way. But it also turns into a very hard time since you will have to watch and experience the growth of the baby, but you cannot see your child for around 40 weeks, more or less. This becomes a challenge to a lot of parents as they wait impatiently for the arrival of their child!
But there is a chance for you to have a sneak peek along the way. You will have your ultrasound tests where doctors can check your baby’s growth rate, healthiness, and they can even see if the baby is a male or a female! This amazing technology allows doctors to predict the child’s birth and facilitate and expected conditions beforehand. This is the first time the parents get to see their child as well. A lot of people have kept their ultrasound photos safe as a treasured memory. But Yulia Sherbak created something that took a turn that no one expected. Scroll down to have a look.
She herself is an ultrasound technologist and practices embroidery as a hobby of hers. She decided to put both of these elements together and create her own ultrasound scan into a piece of art.
She did not expect it to be a big deal. Yulia used white thread on black fabric to replicate the scan as an embroidery. Then, she uploaded pictures of it on her Instagram account. It didn’t take very long to explode all over the internet as everyone started sharing it all over the world! Yulia received loads of good feedback and now she does these embroideries on demand!
