Nature and its wonders are infinite. There are times that nature itself takes charge of places that people have deserted. Nature gives those places greenery but with no humans those places are ghostly. Around the world, there are many such places. And here’s one such an abandoned village that nature has reclaimed.

At the mouth of the Yangtze River in China, on a small island, there’s an abandoned fishing village that is beautiful but covered by creeps. This village Houtou Wan is on Gouqi Island which belongs to the Shengi Islands. Due to urbanization, and people leaving the village, and many other reasons it has become one of the left-out yet beautiful villages.

About half a century before this village had been a good prosperous and growing village but with the increase of needs of fishing boats, it had slowly been deserted. People have had to leave as the bay couldn’t meet their needs. And as the village is free from humans nature has reclaimed the village to a beautiful but ghostly village. There are a few older people who still resides in the village as they aren’t willing to leave their birthplace.
