For many years sculptures had been taking the challenge to do human forms. And this style is used by Benjamin Victor from America in the clay and bronze sculptures he does. He is a well-known artist and many of his work reminds experts like Michelangelo and Bernini. And recently he had done a sculpture of Bathsheba. She is a Biblical character in a long wet dress and the statue is a life-size one. He had made the statue in both clay and bronze. The dress is wet and clings to her body because it’s described as she met King David after coming out of the bath. As the story says, the King had lusted after he had seen her while bathing and therefore he had called the lady.

The artist has done the details of the figure perfectly and has even given a good wet transparent look to the dress.
