The place where we live is becoming more and more unsafe for us. Our safety is in our hands, be it any place that we are in maybe streets, a public area, or maybe even a hotel room we have to be cautious. On TikTok, there are a series of videos where Allie Lovegood, an abuse recovery coach gives tips to be safe when we travel. Though we think hotel rooms are safe they are not, and she had shared some good tips that would help us.

She had shared with the Bored Panda that at first, she had learned the tips from one of her friends, a former police officer. She had said that the response she received for her TikTok videos was supportive as many of her followers are women who either travel alone or have been victims of domestic violence rape or robbery.

She had said that the main thing we have to do is observe the behavior of the people around, and that had helped her a lot to leave that place and be safe. Also, she had said that even she had faced domestic violence and emotional abuse and that what she wants is to help people who are in such situations. She had said that she had left her abuser in 2019 in the month of December and after it had taken her five months to start to recover. And then she had started to talk about what happened with her and had said that she doesn’t want herself to be in such a situation again in life.
