Normally, people move from one house to another. Well actually moving houses is quite a hectic operation with a lot of planning, packing, moving, and getting settled in the new place. But on the other side, it’s a new place with a new start.
So when you think about the tiring process you might just wish that if you could move your whole house to a new place. Well actually it can be done and one guy in San Fransisco recently did it. A stunning Victorian-style house situated in San Fransisco was moved 7 blocks to a new place. Even though San Fransisco is a place with lesser space, they successfully moved the house to the new location. Scroll down to have a look at how the house was moved.

This stunning victorian styled “Englander House” of about 5,170 sq ft is owned by real estate owner Tim Brown. Tim had bought this house for $2.6M back in 2013. And he had moved this 139-year-old house 7 blocks away from its original place spending $400k as he didn’t want it to be demolished.

Well transporting this massive house had not been a cakewalk. Things like street lights and utility lines had been removed so that the house could be safely moved to its new destination. And also, about 15 different permits were needed for the successful compilation of the project.
