Traveling into the wilderness, hiking, and exploring Nature has become a popular interest among people. And among them, seeking abandoned places has a substantially high count.
Just like those people, photographer Matt Emmett has a ‘zing’ to visiting abandoned places and capturing the beautiful sights on his camera. He had always wanted to visit Bastnas of Sweden, where you would find a graveyard of abandoned cars. Finally, he made a visit to the place he always wanted to be. And he had not forgotten to capture the beauty that lies, on his camera. Scroll down and have a look at these amazing images he had captured.

Back in the day, this place had been a scrapyard and now, nature made sure to reclaim it. And these vehicles that are seen here were brought to this place back in the 1940s-60s. During that time this place was quite famous to pick up spare parts as it had been expensive to buy brand new parts.

“I had wanted to shoot at Bastnäs for a number of years and finally got my chance in the Spring of 2018.” Matt had shared on Bored Panda. And he also said that he might return to this place one day. It seems that Matt is really into this place filled with rusted metal. Well, he should be, just look how amazing the place is even after being abandoned for years.

I have been into reading, creative writing, learning different languages from my young age. Also, I’m really fond of calligraphy which I have participated in competitions and won. I was an athlete while I was schooling and I have excelled in the events I did. I have passed my O/levels and did my A/levels in the Physical science stream. Even though my passion for reading and writing never ended. Keep Reading! Keep Learning!
