It’s not something new that dogs help people out. They become lovable companions and helps the owners a lot especially during hard times. You might have heard many stories about dogs helping people. Have you heard of dogs being perfects guides to dogs?
The animals of the same kind understand each other a lot therefore when needed they help each other. The story of Tao and Oko a small little puppy is a similar thing. Oko, the little guy guides the big guy and helps him out daily. Both the dogs are golden retrievers and they share a very strong bond. Scroll to know about them.

Melanie Jackson is the owner of both these adorable dogs. As she had said sadly Toa who is a 12-year-old blind dog had lost both his eyes last year due to eye disease, glaucoma. She had also not thought that the disease would progress so quickly. Even though both his eyes were lost Toa being a courageous guy had recovered quickly. She had even shared with the bored panda that Toa is doing well and that they even go on walks. Soon he had started to do things on his own. But Melanie had understood that he need someone to be with.

That’s when the little hero Oko comes to the story as that someone whom Tao needed. When Oko was brought into the family he had been just 8 weeks old. Anyhow the little fellow had won the trust of Tao and they had shared a strong bond. Both of them had become inseparable and Oko had started to help Tao by guiding him. Though Tao follows Oko the little guy is being trained by Melanie herself.

When they walk around Oko walks first and Tao follows his scent. Both of them look so adorable together and even Oko does his guiding job well. Before Oko, there had been another dog named Otis who had passed away due to cancer. After the incident of Tao, Melanie had made awareness about glaucoma. She had also worked along with the Kennel Club.
