We all know that sculptures are large figures made of materials like clay. Around the world, there are a number of sculptures made and we have the opportunity to see and admire them.

Among the different types of sculptures, sand sculptures are impressive. Here’s one such impressive sand sculpture that’s done by Damon Langlois. Made on a beach in Port Aransas, Texas this sculpture of Lincoln seated on a crumbling throne is named “Liberty Crumbling”. What’s impressive about this is that both the human figure and the chair are carved out of the sand. And It had not been easy to complete this masterpiece.

In order to complete Liberty crumbling it had taken 4 days, the artist had put sand and water onto wooden forms and then carved this incredible piece. This work of Langlois even won first place at the 23rd TexasSandFest, it is a brilliant work. The way to this achievement had been a long one. Langlois had started his sand sculpture journey 30 years ago by joining Sand Boxers a sand sculpture team. Since then he had continued his work of sand crafting and now he has achieved a lot.
