Females and their bodies are celebrated throughout human history. Even though they are seen and celebrated as aesthetic creatures, they are still held up against certain beauty standards. This interesting piece of article is about a modeling campaign that made a lot of attention on the internet. Fall/Winter campaign “Superstar”, done ‘Adidas’, a famous sport-brand created a lot of conversation with its ‘modern’ approach.

The Model who stood in this campaign was a Swedish model; Arvida Byström made a very bold appearance. Body hair on women was not accepted as a part of women’s beauty for a very long time. But in the modern world, late-feminist movements support women to embrace things and practices that were considered less feminine. The model that stood in for these pictures; Arvida Byström, shared her thoughts on social media that everyone should be loved for being their natural selves. Taking off the ‘girly’ appearance that society wants women to have, she presented her natural self with unshaven body hair.
