Maine Coons are one of the natural breeds found in North America native to Maine state in the US. Their nature is very sociable and they are very majestic cats. These cats are also known as Coon cat, Maine cat, and Maine Shag. These adorable cats are also called gentle giants also with their long fur their faces have the look of a lion’s mane. Their hair length is medium-long and has a very soft and silky coat and it may vary with the color. Also as their coat is likely to self maintain there’s no need for constant grooming like other cats who have long hair. Almost every cat lover loves these Maine Coons and they have a mythical quality that makes them the favorite.
