We all know that we have to follow a certain dress code when we work. Similarly, even at schools, there are dress codes the school follows. But lately, many controversies regarding dress codes have come up.
There are school kids who have been getting kicked out of class for dress code violations. Scroll below to know all this fuss is about.
This 12-year old girl who studies in a Ford Middle School in Washington had been kicked out of class for a dress code violation. Her mom Khalesei Holt had recorded a TikTok of herself arguing with the school principal regarding the matter and the video had gone viral with about 9.3M views.
As it is in the video it seems that the mom is not accepting it. She keeps on arguing with the principal and says that her child is going to the class. But the principal says no and after that, he leaves without answering the mom.
While the video goes on the child is seen dressed in shirt and pant that seems like a yoga pant. But it’s not clear if that’s the dress that created this fuss. The dress code details are given in the school handbook and it says that the school is a place of work and learning.
Also, in another follow-up video police are to be seen in the place but seems nothing changed. Anyhow people on the internet had reacted to this matter in different ways. Some disagree with the mom and say that she overreacts and some agree with her.
